Car crashes into house and damages gas main in Stamford

A car crashed into a house causing damage to a gas main.

The accident happened in Brazenose Lane, Stamford, at about 6pm yesterday (Thursday). A single car crashed into a house, fracturing a gas pipe.

Police and the fire service were called and fire crews used putty to seal the crack in the pipe.

It is not known if anyone was hurt.
