Police are treating the case of a car found burnt out on a road in Bourne as “deliberate ignition”.

A black Citreon C4, registration number, KL56 WXG, was found in South Fen Road at about 2am on Saturday

The car had previously been stolen, without any keys, from Stainfield Road, Hanthorpe, only a few hours earlier.

Anyone who saw the car or anything suspicious in the area between 10.30pm last Friday and 2am on Saturday should call 101, quoting incident number 139 of July 30.
