Cash boost for rehab group

A group aimed at encouraging and supporting exercise in those with long term health conditions and people returning to exercise following injury is celebrating after receiving a £300 donation.

Inspire2tri Community Interest Company, based in Oakham, received the cash from the Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund.

Inspire2tri’s exercise class is led by a physiotherapist who works on strength, balance, endurance and, importantly for a lot of the participants, confidence and independence.

Inspire2tri director Julie Peach says: “This donation from the Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund means that we can now purchase new equipment to give us a greater number of exercises to do.”

Galaxy Hot Chocolate is looking to help small community groups and charities across the UK and Ireland.
