A college will offer several apprenticeship courses to school leavers this year.

Catmose College in Oakham has teamed up with Rutland Adult Learning and Skills Service and Peterborough Regional College to offer business administration, nursery, catering, sport, IT, facilities management and library courses.

Applications are open now and successful candidates will be invited to start their roles between June and September. They will benefit from 21 days holiday per year and six discretionary days set by the principal.

Christopher Carr, currently completing his level 3 certificate in business administration at Catmose, said: “Apprenticeships are a great way to gain skills and experience in the workplace.”
