Pupils from Catmose College are set to take centre stage in a First World War musical in Leicester next year.

The youngsters will be joining the City of Leicester Male Voice Choir to perform in Phantom Love at the Curve theatre on February 4, with shows taking place at 2.15pm and 7.30pm.

The musical tells the story of the bravery of soldiers during the war and guardian angels.

The show is written by Tracey Dene Powell, directed by Leanne Mitchell and Andrew Parsons, with music by Matt Sammy and musical arrangements by Clive Rogers of the city choir.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £7 for concessions. Call the theatre on 0116 2423595 or visit
