CCTV operations in South Kesteven - which have helped make 548 arrests - are given thumbs-up
CCTV cameras in Grantham and across the district have recorded 2,421 incidents that were reported to police since April 1 last year, leading to 548 arrests.
The figures were revealed as the CCTV system across the district, which is based in Grantham, was given an official accreditation.
South Kesteven District Council’s CCTV team has received a one-year Certificate of Compliance after its CCTV monitoring operation was found to comply with the national code of practice.
