CCTV released in connection with Stamford thefts

Police have released CCTV images of two men in connection with thefts from shops in Stamford.

Officers want to speak to the man pictured above about the theft of £287 worth of groceries from Waitrose in West Sreet, Stamford on April 26.

A police spokesman said the man was in the supermarket at the time of the theft, adding: “He is approximately 5ft 9in, of slim build with short brown hair. At the time of the offence he was wearing blue jeans and a dark hooded top. He spoke with a foreign accent.”

If you are the person pictured or can identify him, call 101 quoting incident 170 of April 26.

And police believe the man pictured above may be able to help their inquiries in relation to the theft of two magazines from WH Smith in High Street, Stamford, at about 1.40pm on May 29. Incident 303 of May 29.
