The annual Deepings Carnival is taking place this weekend, kicking off with a parade of vintage vehicles, motorbikes and cycles which will travel through the town.
Organised by the Deepings Lions and Rotary Club, this year’s event will take place on Sunday. It starts at 11am with the parade leaving from The Deepings Leisure Centre and finishing at John Eve Field in Market Deeping, followed by a flower parade commencing at 11.30am.
There will be a number of events on the field throughout the day including dog agility with First Class Training, Harmony Majorettes, karate display, tug of war, Deepings Art and Photography exhibition, and static model aircraft.
Along with a funfair, children’s rides along with the ever popular barrel train, cream teas, barbecue, live music, bonny baby competition, craft stalls and a beer tent.
There will also be a Battle of Britain fly past at some point in the day. Along with a car boot sale on The Glebe Field from 9am.
Entry is free and the event will run until about 5pm.
