The Friends of Deeping Library, in partnership with Deeping Community Trust and the local councils, invite the whole community to celebrate the re-opening of the newly refurbished Deepings Library on Saturday, from 10am to 12.30pm.

The ribbon will be cut by local historian, Jonathan Foyle at 10am. Other special guests will include the children’s author, Ellie Sandall, who will welcome youngsters to the Junior Library from 11am, and William and Ellie Wade, whose family lived in Wade House before it became the library in 1971.

There will be a chance to view the whole building on the day, including the newly renovated upper floor.
