The Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust has launched a photographic competition to find the best images of wildlife and wild places in the area.

The images are to feature in the trust’s first Wildlife Calendar for 2016.

The trust is looking for images that best depict the beautiful landscape and wildlife at different times of year.

Images must be in digital format and can be submitted via the LRWT Flickr page, or on a CD to The Old Mill, 9 Soar Lane, Leicester LE3 5DE. The closing date is June 30.
