Change makes a big difference to charities

Charities across Stamford and Bourne have benefitted from a building society’s small change campaign.

Mencap, Willoughby School and Toolbar were among those to be given a £100 donation after being nominated at the Stamford branch of Norwich & Peterborough Building Society, which is part of Yorkshire Building Society.

And the Butterfield Day Care Centre, Bourne and District Blind Club and Nene Valley Harriers were nominated at the Bourne branch.

Yorkshire Building Society’s charitable foundation raised £100,000 to benefit 1,000 charities across the UK by asking people to donate their small change as part of its campaign called Small Change Big Difference.
