LEARN MOREBin collections will start earlier than usual due to the heatwave.
Collection rounds will start at the earlier time of 6.45am in Rutland on tomorrow and Tuesday (July 18 and 19) due to extremely high temperatures.
A spokesperson for the council says the collections will be pushed forward so "crews can start work earlier, when the temperatures will be cooler, and finish before the temperatures reach their peak."
People are asked to put their bins out by 6.30am at the latest on both days, or the night before.
In South Kesteven bin collections will also start earlier due to the heat.
A red weather warning has been issued by the Met Office as temperatures are predicted to top 40C in parts of the country.
