The Rotary Club of Oakham and Oakham in Bloom joined to mark World Polio Day

Two charitable groups have joined together to mark World Polio Day.

The Rotary Club of Oakham donated 2,000 purple crocus bulbs to mark this year’s efforts with the Oakham In Bloom team working to plant them.

Bulbs were planted in an area adjacent to the ambulance station as a gesture to cheer up the piece of ground and thank the NHS.
