Did you attend Charles Read School in Corby Glen during the 1960s or ‘70s?

Lost touch with some of your old school chums?

Former pupil Tony Flower, who lives at Gunby, near Colsterworth, wants to organise a reunion for anyone who was a pupil at the school in those decades.

Tony said: “It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from or what you do, I would like to hear from anyone who was at the Charles Read School in the 1960s or 70s and who would be interested in meeting up with some of their old schools pals again.

“If I get a good response, I will set a date and confirm a venue.”

If you are a former pupil of the school and are interested in attending a reunion, you can contact Tony on 07784915067, or by email at wendyandtonyflower@hotmail.co.uk

Tony would also like to get in touch with Sharon Noble.

“Noble was her family name,” said Tony. “We were friends in the 70s.

“She had a sister named Dawn and they both attended Walton Girls School.

“At the time they lived at the former RAF camp at Old Somerby Hill, but I believe they moved on to RAF Waddington.”
