Rutland Choral Society hand over a cheque for £1611.07 to their chosen charity for 2019 EMICS




The Rutland Choral Society donated more than a £1,000 to a life-saving service.

EMICS was their nominated charity for 2019 and they handed over a cheque for £1611.07.

Money was raised through their three annual concerts, a produce stall and social evening.

Claire Symington, trustee and committee member, said: "All of this has been such fun and the whole choir have got behind this worthwhile cause."

They Advent concert at All Saints' Church in Oakham on Saturday, December 7 starting at 7.30pm.

The picture shows Judy Ford, society chairman, the mayoress of Oakham, Di Smith, mayor of Oakham, Coun Dave Romney and Dr Tim Gray from EMICS.
