Cheryl concerned after cat Gollum goes missing from Ketton

A PET owner is appealing for information after her cat went missing.

Gollum, a long haired dark tabby cat, went missing from his home in Geeston Road, Ketton, at about 11pm on Monday. He is a long cat but quite slim.

Gollum, who is about seven-years-old, was not wearing a collar but he is microchipped.

His owner Cheryl Green is concerned as he spends a lot of time in fields, which are currently flooded, and her home also backs onto a railway line.

Mrs Green has contacted all her neighbours to see if he is hiding in a garage or shed as she described him as “scared of her own shadow” but has had no luck.

Anyone who sees him should call her on 01780 720977.
