Pupils from The Parks School, Oakham C of E Primary School and Knossington Grange attend Kids Out 2019 at Wicksteed Park

Pupils from The Parks School, Oakham C of E Primary and Knossington Grange pupils to Wicksteed Park on Wednesday last week as part of the Kids Out, a national event funded by The Rotary Club.

The Rotary Club of Rutland has been funding the annual trips since 1993, and this year's trip was payed for from last year's Santa fun run at Oakham Rugby Club.

Steve Cox, executive headteacher at Oakham C of E Primary, said: "The children went and had a fantastic time.

"It just gives them the chance to experience the rides and mix with other children from all over the country.

"This year, we had the new high sheriff of Rutland come and wave them off and she stayed for a while and had a look around."
