A small group of children from Colsterworth School have been taken on the role of street artists in order to decorate a village bus shelter in the High Street.

This came as a result of an invitation by the Parish Council, which had seen similar schemes elsewhere as a way of deterring graffiti and vandalism. Having explored the work of street artists during art sessions, the children spent an afternoon painting the bus shelter with wildlife drawings with the help of their art teacher, Sally Coulter, and mural artist Alison Rattigan.
