Staff at Wilkinson in Oakham have been hard at work spreading the Christmas cheer as part of their fundraising initiative for the store’s charity of the year.
The team dressed up as Santa’s little helpers to entertain customers and raise £80 for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.
Staff member Annie Meacock also volunteered her time to provide candy floss for customers, with all proceeds going to the emergency charity.
Store manager Margaret Brown said: “This year’s Christmas event has been a delight to organise and take part in.
“The whole team is incredibly enthusiastic about raising funds for thr air ambulance and we hope that our customers enjoyed the activities as much as we did.
“We couldn’t be more grateful to everybody who has supported us on our fundraising journey.”
Tracy Grunwell, fundraising manager for the charity, said: “We are very grateful to the Oakham store for its fantastic charitable donation.”
