Bourne-based directors of Act II Theatre Company to hold Christmas revue at the Vista in Spalding

Actors are set to bring festive cheer with an annual revue.

Karl and Charlotte Gernert, the Bourne-based directors of Act II Theatre Company, will be able to put on a show this year despite the pandemic. The performance, which looks satirically at the year’s news, events, celebrity gossip and political mishaps, has been taking place since 2013.

Charlotte said “Clearly the last few months have been an incredibly challenging time for everyone, so we felt that, more than ever, we needed to give people a good old laugh. Putting on the revue is usually one of the highlights of our year and we’re so pleased that we’re still able to make it happen despite the pandemic.”

Due to limited ticket sales pre-booking is necessary and the show is recommended for 16-year-olds and above.

The revue will take place at the Vista in Spalding from December 18 to 20 at 7pm and 9pm. Tickets can be bought for £6 from liz@act2online.co.uk, the Act II Facebook page or by calling 01775 766921.
