Stamford Library a collection point again for Operation Christmas Child

Following on the success from last year when around 200 shoeboxes were collected, Stamford Library is once again a collection point for the world’s largest Christmas project – Operation Christmas Child.

Members of the public are invited to pack a shoebox with goodies for a child who would otherwise not be able to experience the joy of receiving a gift at Christmas.

Library manager Lea Rickard said forms were available to collect from the library in High Street and shoeboxes could be dropped off any time from November 1 to 18.
