St John's Church in Ryhall secures £40,000 grant from Augean Community Fund to fix leaky roof and carry out upgrades
A church has secured a £40,000 grant in its race against time to fix a leaking roof and carry out vital repairs.
Leaders at St John’s Church in Ryhall had launched a campaign to raise £360,000 for the crucial upgrades saying the medieval building could “fall into disuse” without them.
The grant has been provisionally awarded by the Augean Community Fund, a grant system linked to waste management company Augean PLC.
