Climate change activist Maggie Bentley, who is part of Fridays for Future in Stamford, believes 'we have 10 years to do something'

Maggie Bentley believes time is running out to save the planet.

The mother-of-three and grandmother-of-four is a familiar face in Stamford’s High Street, where she stands each Friday with a group of other like-minded people as part of Fridays for Future.

They are adamant time is running out to save the Earth from flooding caused by meltingpolar ice caps. This, they say, is a consequence ofclimate change caused by increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
