A CLOTHES swap party raised more than £600 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Ellen Chisholm organised the party for more than 50 women, which took place on Thursday last week at the St Mary and St Augustine Church Hall in Stamford.

The event was supported by local businesses, including Sandi Lindley Style, and started with a talk from Sandi.

All the clothes were bought by the women on the night and there was also a raffle. The evening finished with a fashion show, where five women modelled their purchases.

Ellen, of Ermine Way, Stamford, said: “I was thrilled that the event raised £625 and I’ve had a lot of fantastic feedback. Many people are hoping we’ll hold another event.”
