Coffee mornings in Stamford, Bourne and Deepings for Macmillan Cancer Support

SHOPS and clubs are taking part in the world’s biggest coffee morning.

The event is being held nationally on Friday next week in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Deepings Bowling Association will be serving coffee at its pavilion in Spalding Road, Deeping St James from 10am to midday, and Deepings Rugby Club in Linchfield Road, Deeping St James, will be starting at 9.30am.

All Saints’ Church in Stamford, South Luffenham Village Hall and The Old School Hall in North Luffenham will also be venues for the coffee morning and many will be holding stalls, as well as offering refreshments.

Stamford High School in High Street St Martin’s is also holding a coffee morning in the dining hall and residents at Almond Court in Northorpe will also be holding an event.

Bonmarche in High Street, Stamford is unable to serve coffee but is holding a tombola instead.

Barclays bank in North Street, Bourne, will be holding a charity auction of the Premiership pictures in its banking hall. Bids will be taken up until Friday next week.
