Colin Pattison from Bourne is marching through September for Prostate Cancer UK

A former mayor has walked 52 miles in the first week of a challenge to support Prostate Cancer UK.

Colin Pattison, a Bourne town councillor, is ‘Marching through September’ to complete more than 11,000 steps a day in return for sponsorship the men’s health charity.

Thanking those who have already supported him, Colin said: “I have had some lovely and warming comments as I march around Bourne’s streets and through our woods, as well as on social media and from those who have stopped me to chat.”

Colin has currently raised £341 and has a target to raise £500 by the end of the month.
