The value of learning outside the classroom has already been recognised by many primary schools in the local area and their achievements are about to be celebrated at a major conference.

Raising Standards: Improving lives outside the classroom will be held at The Haycock Hotel in Wansford on January 29.

The conference will include a keynote presentation by Elaine Skates, chief executive officer from the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom, along with workshops and other feature presentations.
