Coronavirus: Lean Pantry and Co in Stamford offer delivery service to those self-isolating or in confinement




A town centre café has joined the long list of businesses helping people who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Lean Pantry and Co, in High Street, Stamford, has launched a delivery service to anyone who maybe self-isolating or in confinement.

Owner, Seema Khanna, said: “We are small family business and are our menu is quite varied, especially when it comes to dietary requirements.

“We launched the delivery service to keep morale high by serving coffee, cakes, sandwiches and baked potatoes to our customers in their own home.

“It’s just about keeping everything moving and morale high.

"We are doing everything we can to support our customers and suppliers."

The delivery service is available on a reduced menu within a three-mile radius and card payments are accepted.

Recyclable cups, smoothie cups and cake boxes will be used for the foreseeable future with tables and chairs re-arranged to give people more space in the café.
