Coronavirus: Leicestershire resident diagnosed
A resident of Leicestershire is among the latest people to be diagnosed with coronavirus, taking the total today (Saturday, March 7) to 206 UK cases.
Health officials are seeking those who have come into contact with the Leicestershire patient, but are keen to reassure people not wo worry.
Dr Fu-Meng Khaw, Centre Director, Public Health England East Midlands, said: “Public Health England is contacting people who had close contact with one of the latest confirmed cases of COVID-19 who is a resident of Leicestershire.
