Pfizer vaccines begin at St Mary's Medical Centre, Stamford to protect against Covid-19

A Covid-19 vaccination centre has opened in Stamford this morning (Tuesday, December 29).

From today until Thursday (December 31), nearly 1,000 people will be passing through the doors of St Mary's Medical Centre in Stamford to get their first dose of the vaccine.

The surgery, which is run by Lakeside Healthcare, has been provided with 975 Pfizer vaccines and has a three-and-a-half day window in which to use them.
