Rutland County Council will choose chairman at virtual meeting tonight
Rutland County Council will hold a virtual meeting tonight (Monday, June 29) to allocate elected members to a number of key positions for the 2020/21 council year.
Rutland’s latest annual council meeting was due to take place in May, before it was postponed due to the impacts of Covid-19.
The meeting will elect a chairman and vice-chairman of the council for the next 12 months, as well as appointing individual councillors to important positions on various committees and scrutiny panels.
