South Kesteven District Council leader sets out plan to recover from Covid-19 impact at cabinet meeting including an amended budget in September

A framework for a recovery plan has been set out by the leader of South Kesteven District Council, as "we begin our journey towards what will be a new normal".

The impact on the council's finances will also see an amended budget presented in September.

In a statement made to a virtual cabinet meeting this afternoon (Tuesday, June 16), leader of South Kesteven District Council Kelham Cooke recognised there is "still a long way to go in our battle with Covid-19" and energy and effort must be focused on "enabling our district to not only recover but to thrive in the months and years ahead".
