Market Deeping Town Council writes to Lincolnshire County Council to help promote active transport
A town council has given its backing to steps to improve travel during and out of the coronavirus crisis.
Adam Brookes, chairman of the planning and highways committee at Market Deeping Town Council, put the idea forward in response to the different and more active travel habits people have started to develop during the coronavirus crisis.
In a letter to Lincolnshire County Council, Coun Brookes set out the aim to promote active travel and support the high street stores through pavement widening, reduced speed limits, and increased cycle parking.
