Support from staff, students, parents and the wider community has helped Bourne Grammar School raise £600 at its Michaelmas craft and gift fair.
The event, organised by the school’s Parents, Teachers and Friends Association, had a variety of stalls selling arts, crafts and festive items as well as refreshments and other treats.
Amanda Gilbert, chair of the association, said they had raised more money this year than they have done in previous years.
“It was open to the community as well and we had a good turnout,” she said.
“It went really well. We will be aiming to repeat the success again next year.”
Money raised from the fair will be used to buy equipment that can “enhance the learning experience” for students.
Last year’s funds paid for matting for the school’s drama theatre and for visualisers (presentation tools).
