BETWEEN 4,000 and 5,000 visitors browsed a craft fair at the weekend.
Living Heritage Events organised the craft fair, which took place at Burghley House on Saturday and Sunday.
There were more than 150 craftsmen and demonstrators at the show, including artists, designers, jewellery makers, wood turners, glass blowers and basket makers, as well as children’s entertainment and string puppet shows.
The event has previously been held in May along with a game and country show, which is also held by Living Heritage Events.
Burghley House manager Philip Gompertz said: “It went very well, helped by the good weather. I think holding it in October was a success.”
