Traffic at standstill on A1 near Stamford

Drivers are facing long delays after a crash blocked the A1.

Traffic is at a standstill on the A1 southbound between the A606 Stamford turn off and Tickencote.

Drivers are facing delays of more than 15 minutes, with delays to traffic between Grantham and Stamford.

The AA traffic news website shows the crash happened at about 2.45pm today (April 13).
