Crews from Bourne and Spalding tackle combine harvester fire in Barnes Drove, Bourne

Firefighters were called after a combine harvester caught alight.

Crews from Bourne and Spalding attended Barnes Drove in Bourne earlier today (August 4) to tackle a combine harvester fire.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze using one hose reel jet, a beater and a water backpack.

There is fire damage to straw which was in a compartment of the combine harvester and part of the field.
