THREE men who were arrested in connection with the murder of Alan Wood have been released without charge.

Two men, aged 18 and 35, reported for bail yesterday when they were released without a charge. Police say a third man, who is 43, had been released without charge at an earlier date.

Police arrested the men in October when a team of more than 20 officers simultaneously attended three addresses in the Stamford area.

In December officers arrested a fourth man, a 20-year-old, in Hampshire. He was released on police bail and will report back on March 1.

Mr Wood, 50, was found dead at his home in Main Road, Lound, in October 2009.
