A FORMER care home manager who stole from residents has been warned she could face jail.
June Ann Walters, former manager of the Priory Court Care Home in Stamford, admitted three charges of theft between December 2008 and December 2010 when she appeared before Lincoln Crown Court on Friday.
Walters, 54, of Queen’s Road, Uppingham, stole £8,574 from one resident and £5,496 from another.
Walters was granted bail to appear back before the crown court for sentence on August 26.
Recorder Mark Rhind warned her: “This is a very serious matter involving a significant breach of trust. All sentencing options will be open including a custodial sentence. You must be aware of that.”
