A MAN has been charged with burglary at a school and assaulting a staff member.
The 32-year-old has been charged in connection with an incident at Langham Primary School, Burley Road.
Between 2pm and 2.40pm on Monday, June 25, a male intruder was disturbed in a school office.
The man pushed the staff member who found him and ran off with a Cadbury chocolate tin containing cash and a black Radley purse.
The member of staff had minor injuries.
The man has been charged with burglary other than dwelling and common assault.
He will appear before Loughborough Magistrates Court on October 17.
