Oakham woman pleads guilty to stabbing and drink driving

A woman has admitted stabbing a man.

Sarah Lawrence-Dexter, 40, of Grampion Way, Oakham, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm at Leicester Crown Court on Monday.

The charge relates to an attack on a man in Derwent Drive, Oakham, on February 4. The man was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment on a stab wound to his lower abdomen.

Lawrence-Dexter also admitted drink driving on the same date.

She will be sentenced at Leicester Crown Court on April 9.
