FOUR men from south Yorkshire have been released on bail after being arrested in connection with alleged poaching offences on farmland near Apethorpe.

Three men from Barnsley, aged 24, 27 and 28, and a 37-year-old from Doncaster were arrested and taken to Corby police station on December 10.

Police officers had patrolled the area which led to the arrests and the recovery of a 4x4 vehicle.

Police said there had been a significant number of deer poaching cases and coursing with dogs in the area.
