Burglars have stolen electronic goods and jewellery from a house in South Witham.

Between 5pm and midnight yesterday (Sunday) burglars broke into a house in Halford Close through the bottom panel of the side door.

Police said several items have been taken including a camcorder, jewellery, computer games and possibly other items.

If you saw or heard anything suspicious call police on 101 and quoting incident 14 of August 5.

There was also an attempted burglary at Glen Close, in Little Bytham.

The owner returned home at 10.30am yesterday to discover the cat flap on the back door of the property had been tampered with.

Anyone with information should quote incident 497 of August 4 when talking to police.

In Stamford an iPhone was stolen on Saturday night. Police believe the phone was stolen in The Lord Burghley pub in Broad Street in Stamford.

To report information about the theft cite incident number 5 of August 4.

Also between 5pm on Satuday and 9.30am yesterday a pane of glass was broken at Asker’s bakery in Red Lion Street, Stamford. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 171 of August 4.
