Police have been tackling crimes in the Stamford area over the festive period.

On Christmas Eve burglars attempted to break into a house in Bank Crescent, Stamford, between 7.30pm and 10.30pm.

The suspects attempted to get in through the back patio door but where unsuccessful.

Call police on 101 quoting incident 10 of December 25 with any information.

A catalytic converter was stolen from a silver Ford Galaxy car on a driveway in Caithness Road between Friday and Sunday.

Anyone with information or who witnessed people acting suspiciously should quote incident 148 of December 30 when talking to police.

A silver triathlon bicycle was stolen from a back garden in Gresley Drive, Stamford, some time before Saturday.

The thieves got into the garden through an unlocked gate.

Anyone with information should quote incident number 73 of December 28.

Police have just released information about tools stolen from a storage unit outside a property in Exeter Court in St Peters Street, Stamford.

The thieves struck between December 16 and December 19.
