Power tools taken in third raid

Have your say

THIEVES have stolen power tools from a van in the third raid last week.

Tools were stolen from an unlocked van in Cedar Road, Stamford, over the weekend and stole several power tools.

This is the third incident in the town after thieves broke into two vans in Arran Road.

Officers are urging workers to make sure they keep their tools are locked up.

A police spokesman said: “Criminals are clearly looking for opportunities to steal from vans. There may be a temptation to leave vans unlocked if people are nipping in and out while working at a property – but it is not worth the risk.”
