Thefts, burglary and criminal damage in Stamford area

Police are appealing for witnesses after a series of crimes in the Stamford area.

A men’s racing Lallex bicycle with a black frame and red wheels has been stolen from outside Morrisons supermarket in Uffington Road in Stamford.

The bicycle, which was locked up, was stolen between 1.45pm and 1.50pm on Saturday.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident 138 of November 10.

A house in Chatsworth Road in Stamford was burgled during the day on Saturday.

The thieves got into the house through a kitchen window and stole a laptop computer.

Police are currently making further enquiries in the area.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious should contact police quoting incident number 402 of November 9.

Damage has been caused to a wall in Sutherland Way, Stamford.

Police said they do not know when the damage was caused but believe it was done using a vehicle.

Anyone with information should quote incident number 320 of November 7 when contacting police.

A vehicle in St Paul’s Street, Stamford was scratched between 2.20pm and 2.50pm on Tuesday.

Anyone with information to help police with their enquires should quote incident 227 of November 5.

A Silver Renault Scenic was stolen during a burglary at a house in Northern’s Close in North Witham.

The thieves broke into the property through the back door between 3pm on Saturday and midday on Sunday and stole several valuable items before taking the car from the driveway.
