A vehicle was left with two smashed windowscreens and dents on the bonnet while parked in Spindlewood Drive, Bourne, on Sunday.

The damage was thought to have happened at about 3.05am when vandals are thought to have stood on the vehicle before an alarm went off.

Two people in dark clothing were seen running away and anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident 108 of November 1.

Meanwhile, a gang used a digger and farming equipment to steal a generator and disc cutter from a building site in Baston last weekend.

After getting in through an entrance off the A15, the gang broke into five containers and took keys to a JCB and a digger, before trying to hotwire the JCB and cutting a rotating orange light off the digger.

It was then used, along with some chains, to steal the generator and disc cutter between Saturday and Monday, October 24 to 26.

Anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident 47 of October 26.

In Billingborough, police believe a gang who forced their way into a building site there were interested in heavy plant machinery.

It happened in West Road between 5pm last Monday and 7.30am on Tuesday but nothing was stolen.

Anyone who saw a vehicle near a farmyard or workshop in the Birthorpe area at about 3am on Tuesday should call 101.

Finally, a number of parked vehicles were damaged whilst parked in Station Street, Rippingdale, last weekend.

Police believe a sharp tool was used to scratch the vehicles from the front wing to the back between 1.15pm on Sunday, October 25, and 8am the next day.
