Lincolnshire’s police and crime commissioner has started to advertise the county’s chief constable role.
Alan Hardwick has set up a website to help recruit a permanent leader of the police force.
Acting chief constable Neil Rhodes, who was suspended by Mr Hardwick for alleged misconduct before being cleared after an independent investigation, has already said he will apply for the role.
According to the adverts on www.leadinglincspolice.com the four-year fixed term would come with a salary of £131,343, although more may be available for an exceptional candidate.
Mr Hardwick is looking for a “dynamic and ambitious leader who shares his passion for the county, its people and police force.”
The closing date for applications is November 1.
