Crowds flock to support the Langtoft Trash and Treasure Sale

Scores of people flocked to Langtoft on Sunday to take advantage of the village's trash and treasure sale.

The event saw more than 50 homes throughout the community open their garages to sell items, and there were bolstered by the many tables inside the village hall.

The event raised £300, which will go towards new flooring for the village hall.

Chairman of the Village Hall Management Committee, Yvonne McCulloch, said: "The day went very well. The village was buzzing. It was a lovely day and the weather meant everyone came out.

"It was very successful, and means we're opne step closer to getting new flooring for the village hall."
