A supermarket is on the lookout for a new local charity partner having raised £1,500 for Lives last year.

Sainsbury’s in Exeter Street, Bourne is asking customers to vote for their favourite local charity to find a cause to support next year.

Bourne store manager Nicki Richardson added: “Our work with previous local charity partners over the years has been really successful in letting our customers have their say. We hope our customers can take the time to vote in the coming weeks and give a local charity that’s close to their hearts the chance for us to support them”.

Voting is open online at as well as in-store until Wednesday.

The winning charity will be announced in June

Since the store began supporting the initiative in 2009, more than £9,000 has been raised.
